NICK'S PLACE X CONCRETE NATION
TALENTED Bec and George Douros are one of our favourite couples ever to compete in Nine’s hit renovation TV series, The Block.
Since taking part in The Block: Sky High in 2013, Bec, an interior designer, and George, a bricklayer and builder, have been working tirelessly on their own projects and building their home renovation and design consultancy, Nectaar.
We jumped at the chance to work with them on their most personal project yet, the renovation of George’s 1970s family home in Avondale Heights, where his father Nick still lives, and transform it into two beautiful townhouses.
The project, called Nick’s Place, is being documented in an IGTV web series and highlights the value of restoring existing properties rather than building a new home.
We supplied two basins – a Halo Basin in Grey Mist and the Arc Basin in White Snow - and two of our iconic Oasis Bath tubs - one in Grey Mist and one in White Snow - for the two main bathrooms which were revealed in Episode Four on July 19.
Both spaces are completely different with different textures and colour schemes but, we are sure you’ll agree, are equally chic.
Take a tour below. Pleasure doing business with you, Bec and George!
