You know the brand but let us introduce you to the creative, hardworking and talented couple behind Concrete Nation.

Meet Kate and Jason Lett.

The pair first met in Kate’s home country of the United States where New Zealand native Jason was playing rugby union and working for a builder. Kate, a fashion merchandising and marketing graduate, was working in a fashion design studio at the time.

When a builder friend told Jason about the Yestermorrow Design/Build School, which offers hands-on workshops in design, construction and architectural craft focusing on sustainable design, he was intrigued.

Jason took a course in Concrete Countertops, which included every aspect of the process of forming, mixing, colouring, pouring and sealing concrete countertops, and spent the next two years perfecting his craft.

After the birth of their first daughter Riley, the couple relocated from the US to Queensland’s Gold Coast where they launched Concrete Nation from a small storage shed at Burleigh Heads.

The boutique operation now includes six craftsmen and a total of eight employees who relish being able to work together to bring their valued clients’ vision to life.

The Letts have sinced added little Indie to their tribe, and juggle running their business with raising their beautiful girls.

With a host of projects in the works and new products in the pipeline, the best is yet to come for this formidable duo, who are revered by both customers and industry professionals alike.

Kate and Jason recently worked with the talented Rhys from Jessie & Jones to produce this video to share their story with their community.
